I have a MACBOOKPRO Lion 10.7.2 system and am running Tri-Back Up 6. Just bought it a few weeks ago. I have a 1T Net Drive in the house on a Netgear Win3700 Router. Not sure why, but my MACBOOK PRO often looses the volume mount of the Net Drive. I think that is because I do not have an Airport Router and all that nice MAC stuff that comes with it and talks so nicely too. Also I think the MACBOOKPRO naps and looses the connection. However... After screwing around with this for hours I found …

Hello, edit your programmed action, and re-affect the destination folder/volume. Save and retry. Something may have changed on your system. Sincerely

I'm not actually trying to mount a folder, but a disk or server volume. Tri-Backup refers to these volumes as "Folder". The name is the name of the disk or server. This disk/server can already be mounted, but it is still not recognized. Looking into /Volumes/ shows nothing but disks and servers. See attachment. (Image Attached)

Hello, First, check that the /Volumes/ folder contains aliases only (no folder). Acces it with the GoTo menu in the Finder. If yes, delete any folder, and unmount/remount the disk. Also, check that the folder really exists in the disk. Thierry Rolland

"old" file is a file with a modification date older than the last execution (in this case). Just think of a filter based on the modification date compared to the date of the last execution. With this filter, any file (added or removed) with a modification date older that the last execution is ignored (and newer is copied). Note that the date of last execution is (of course) updated after each execution. Thierry Rolland

Thanks Thierry that's very helpful, I shall test out the Exclude files modified..." command. Can you tell me what constitutes an "old" file? Does this mean if there is a file that gets deleted, that particular file cannot be added back in? Does TRI-Backup look at the date of the file to establish if it has been a part of the directory in the past? If I delete a file then download an update of that file (with the same name) in the future, can I add the new one to the folder? Whilst having …
