EDITORS CheckUpdates: A Tool for your Customers You can use CheckUpdates to offer to your customers a free and easy way to be alerted as soon as you have a new version, or a new product, available. CheckUpdates uses a list of predefined groups. Any group contains a set of products to survey. Each product in these groups can be activated by the user (even with the free version of CheckUpdates). - To add your products:
- we add a link to a text file located on your web site and defining your products.
- you update and add products in the text file located on your web site, with settings so that CheckUpdates can know where to check the version for each product. Settings are those that you can export from CheckUpdates. Products are automatically added in CheckUpdates data base. - To offer CheckUpdates to your customers:
You just have to add a link on your web page(s) so that your customers can download CheckUpdates. When done and CheckUpdates launched, your visitors will automatically have your products ready to survey.
